I need to remember to go alone to the area by the Notre Dame with all the vintage art and books being sold. I always feel like I could spend hours browsing each stand and no one ever seems quite as keen as me.
Posters of Montmartre ads and naked women, vintage and artisan postcards, new and used books, old maps and beautiful watercolor paintings. The area surrounding it is beautiful, too. The Notre Dame peripherally unavoidable, Latin Quarter right around the corner, Seine river just in front, and Shakespeare & Co just a couple minutes away, (which is good for me.) I am ambitious in my French, but not quite ambitious enough to attempt Voltaire.
