5/9/15 Le printemps est arrivé à Paris, et c’est trop agréable. 

Le printemps est arrivé à Paris, et c’est trop agréable.

I know that I’m supposed to be blogging about my trip with Sara, and I am, it’s just taking a while and stressing me out, and when things stress me out I immediately stop them and do nothing about it. So here I am, instead, writing about how beautiful the weather has been – especially yesterday. I had my coffee quickly in the morning and then spent the entire day by the Seine with snacks and with a good book (A Moveable Feast, appropriately.)

It was packed with people and you could barely find a place to sit though there are so many. I love the area outside of my apartment with hammocks set up and benches and grounded beach chair-things. Boats with tourists packed to the brim passed every few minutes and it was really all too wonderful. I won’t complain about having a vitamin D-less winter like some people have been here, I come from Detroit, MI. It could have been so, so much worse.

Anyway, to wrap the day up I had a wine picnic with a few friends at Champ de Mars. It was perfect and I felt in heaven stumbling walking home that night.
