Random Roman Beauty

Sara and I had the most fun in Rome when we walked without a plan or rode the bus without an ultimate destination. When we walked we found a beautiful street in Rome full of shops and cafes. When we went on the bus we saw the entire city without real motive. It’s moments like that in which you see the place through a different lens; by omitting any pressure to search for anything specific, we were able to enjoy the city for what it was.

If you’re traveling and you’ve got the time to do it, I recommend trying this. You may be surprised at what you find. It might be much better than any tourist’s guidebook or internet search could recommend for you. You are your own unique person, so who is to say you’re going to enjoy the same spots around the world that everyone else does?

I think it’s important to remember when traveling that there is beauty in normalcy as well.
