Hello! How are you? Just wondering how long you have lived in Paris? What things did you have to do so you could move? I’m asking cause I’d love to move there but am not sure if it’s just a dumb, unrealistic dream. Have a great day!

It’s absolutely not a dumb unrealistic dream. I’m gonna get really Disney on you for a second, but you can do anything if you want it badly enough and set your mind to it. I’ve wanted to live in France since I was sixteen, but there were always obstacles – usually money, that stopped me. If that had not been a problem for me, I would have studied abroad during college. If money isn’t a problem for you, I would suggest looking into studying abroad.

However, I’m so glad that it worked out for me this way, because I was actually able to find a job here that gave me a ~year long contact and visa to stay in France. It’s through TAPIF: Teaching Assistant Program In France. Look into it!

Because of all the free time (It’s only a 12 hour work week) I was able to have a much better experience here than I would have had I studied abroad.
