Vancouver is the place to go if you can’t make your mind up between nature and city life. You can literally see mountains while in the city and it’s beautiful. My only regret for Vancouver was because we were on a work trip, and so I wasn’t able to explore it as in depth as I would have liked.

Regardless, we did do some exploring, and so I have a few recommendations:

Lookout Vancouver: Most of the photos I took were up here. Best view in the city! Don’t skip.

Cactus Club: The food here was amazing, and great nightlife atmosphere with good music and a DJ. It was a bit on the pricier side, so it was truthfully not somewhere I would have dined had my company not been footing the bill– but! if you’ve got the cash, it’s a definite recommendation.

Olympic Cauldron: Built for the 2010 winter games, but still a cool sight– and if you walk a few feet down to the water you get a really beautiful view of the city and mountains.
