Toronto, Ontario, Canada

 In Toronto

I’ve been to Toronto twice. The first time, on a trip with my friend Anna, which for reasons I can’t fully explain here, was a once in a lifetime trip. I can’t get into details, but we ended up meeting a lot of really cool people, and staying at the Hyatt’s biggest suite (It was 2 floors! And my hostel-staying ass doesn’t know that kind of luxury!) For some reason, I don’t have a good photo of the suite, but we also did a bunch of other fun things on the trip, like the Royal Ontario Museum, which was just as awesome architecturally as it what it offered on the inside (Dinosaurs, fam. Dinosaurs.) We walked around, froze our asses off (the best advice I can give you is not to go that far north in February. It was pure misery.) We also met up with Tia, and all 3 of us had a little Paris reunion at an adorable breakfast spot called Le Petit Déjeuner.

Below: photo evidence that for 2 days, Anna and I lived a life of luxury.

My second time in Toronto was for work, so not quite like my luxurious first experience, but still cool, because the company I worked for was footing the bill on everything.. and who wouldn’t enjoy that?

It was also pretty awesome because we got to work in the Google Canada’s Toronto Office. We ate at tons of delicious restaurants, but unfortunately I didn’t write down the name of any.

Toronto Recommendations: Check out the Royal Ontario Museum. Obviously, the CN tower is cool, but expect a long line and pricy tickets. There are tons of great restaurants as Toronto is a big city. My biggest tip is to save this trip for the Spring or Summer. Going when it’s cold can almost ruin your experience.
