Hoping I Could Write Her a Rhyme, That Might Stop The Tick of Time.

The Kooks in Paris (2.17.15)

On Sara’s third night here we saw The Kooks play and it was an incredible show. The lead singer sounded exactly like how he sounded every time I played The Kooks in my car for the past 6 or so years. I fell in love all over again with his unique voice and clawed my way to the first row, dragging Sara behind me. No regrets.

I called that they would end with Naive and of course they did. They also played a lot of the great old hits like Junk Of The Heart and Seaside, and thrillingly to me, The Tick Of Time, which I was not expecting at all but admittedly did make me feel a bit emotional.

It’s far too early in the morning, to be trying call you
and far too early in the daytime to be thinking about that
but I, but I, but I am.
